Dr. Paul J. Endry
Dr. Paul Endry has loved Western North Carolina since he first opened a practice here in 1985. Born in West Virginia and growing up in central Ohio, Paul went to The Ohio State University for his undergrad and doctorate degree. He maintains an active role in the North Carolina Optometry Society and was president of the Mountain District for several years. He keeps his knowledge up-to-date through continuing education and association with a professional organization of independent optometrists. He enjoys the collegiate and professional atmosphere among health care providers in the Asheville area as our practice strives to diagnose and treat the health concerns of our patients.
Dr. Paul enjoys hiking, biking, cooking and eating. He has moved his practice to the historic Grove Arcade from an office on Biltmore Avenue in 2006. In the 90's he was fortunate to have practiced optometry in rural Alaska, flying to villages along the northwestern coast and St. Lawrence Island. Through the Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity and AMIGOS de las Americas he has worked in clinics in Costa Rica, Nicaragua, Guatemala and Tanzania.

Jessika E. Arena, CPOC
Jessika has been our Office Manager since she moved to Asheville in the Spring of 2008, recently she obtained her Paraoptometric Coding Certification. Jessika would be happy to help you with any of your insurance questions from benefits to billing!
She and her husband Michael enjoy cruising the Caribbean, craft beer, and cooking. They are proud parents of Izzy, a Pug-Boston Terrier, and in October 2012 they welcomed their first (human) daughter, Guinevere.

Justine J. Brown
Justine has been practicing opticianry since 2009 in various settings across the country. Landing in Asheville, she has expanded her clinical experience at The Eye Center. Through continuing education courses, she broadens her knowledge in eye care.
Justine enjoys traveling, art, design, and exploring our Blue Ridge Mountains.
With a critical eye for style, Justine will help fit you with the latest eyewear to suit your needs.

Leizl B. Robinson, CPO
Leizl is new to the optometry field and has recently been certified as a Paraoptometric. She enjoys learning all aspects of optometry and helping patients make informed decisions about their vision care.
Originally from Virginia Beach, she enjoys playing with her chihuahua Lola, and spending time with her husband Matthew as they prepare to welcome their first child into their family.

Guinevere “Vera” Arena
Vera is our newest, youngest, and most temporary employee. When she is not sleeping on the job she is in charge of our happiness department, flash her and smile and you'll get one right back.
Vera enjoys board books, soft blankets, and helping Mommy at work!
